Acknowledgement and Special Awards
Honorable Mention to Dr. Kenneth Rudd, DDS
Dr. Rudd obtained his DDS from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and after graduating worked in private practice for 10 years from 1943-1953. In 1953 he joined the United States Air Force and made it a career working in dentistry. He retired in 1975 after 23 years of services with the rank of Colonel.
He then joined the faculty at the UTHSCSA in the position of Associate Dean of Continuing Dental Education and retired after 19 years of service. He is Professor Emeritus in prosthodontics at the UTHSCSA Dental School.
For the last two years Dr. Rudd has been volunteering at the Hispanic Center of Excellence-Dentistry sharing his expertise teaching summer classes to sophomore dental students.
We are very proud and honored to count with his wisdom, knowledge and willingness to help students and faculty.
